Suggest an Item for the Library to Purchase
Would you like to suggest an item for the library to purchase? Fill out this form as completely as you can, you can even add a link to an online store. We will review every request and we will contact you regarding your request within a week. Unfortunately, we cannot purchase every item that our patrons request. When deciding if an item will be purchased, we think about a number of factors. Is it the type of item that we would add to our collection and would other patrons enjoy it? We also check to see if the item could be purchased, how long ago was it published, and how much it costs, because we have a limited materials budget. If we cannot purchase your request, we may suggest alternatives for you such as interlibrary loan (ILL), a TexShare card (allows you borrow the item from another library), and using one of our digital materials apps.
